- Provide effective and dedicated Human Resources support to employees including conduct and grievance matters, organizational change, leave of absences and all other employee-related matters
- Participate in development of HR objectives and systems, including metrics, queries, and standard reports for ongoing company requirements (inclusive of routine audits)
- Ensure legal compliance of HR state and federal regulations, applicable employment laws, and update policies and/or procedures as required
- Enforce current policies and recommend new procedures/policies to continually improve efficiency of the organization, and improve employee experience
- Partner with corporate teams to support employee outreach programs including community events, appreciation days, and related activities
- Assist in onboarding and offboarding employees
- Assist in the communication, interpretation, and upkeep of employee handbook
- Address employee inquires in a timely and caring manner
- 2-4 years experience as a Human Resources Generalist or HR Business Partner
- Additional HR training or experience is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field preferred
- Excellent communication skills, ethics, and cultural awareness
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task
- Resourceful, problem-solving aptitude and thorough knowledge of HR procedures and policies
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), HRIS systems, and comfortable learning new technical systems as needed
