How do we derive value from knowledge?
The challenge of the data-driven environment we find ourselves in today is not a lack of information; it’s in finding the right information in a timely fashion. The second, and perhaps equally important, challenge is qualifying how effective information is. It doesn’t matter if a knowledge article comes up quickly if the content of that article isn’t helpful.
This document details our recommendations for generating meaningful data around knowledge usage as well as some suggestions on transforming knowledge from a cost center to a savings center.
